Giving Readings

Reading again. To Mouse, yesterday. From "Mouse" this morning, as if to a classroom.
It is very funny to watch her read extemporaneously. She uses alot of inflection and holds the book up for everyone to see.
We can just imagine her classroom at school. Thanks Apple Tree teachers for giving her good examples to imitate.

Pointing a Book

It's like reading a book. Mommy asks you where something is in the book and you point to it.
C'mon, alot of you do this every day. With your mouse.

Elmo (the Cat's) Pajamas

Olivia at 21 months:
So happy with her Elmo pajamas,
So sad about what those pajamas mean when she puts them on.
Thanks Shirley and Jim!

You and the Trike You Rode In On

She loves the trike, hates the helmet (because I pinched her chin skin in the strap buckle), and was very tired after riding it around with Grandma and Grandpa Vande Berg last week.

On the hMings

Brave women.
They have to live with me.
Playground equipment hardly seems a reward, but Olivia behaves as such.

And there isn't a single hMing (swing - she likes her own diphthongs, thanks) on this equipment, yet that remains it's title.

Olivia Bathes with her Cousins

There is a Missouri joke at my fingertips from the title, which appears to be fulfilled in the second and third pictures, so I'll just let it lie.
Besides, Conor is from Kansas.

Summer of 2008

Pictures of Iowa City from June 2008 without a bit of river water in them.
Enjoy.

A couple nice photos with Oma and Opa, also back in May.
There's no need to establish who of the three is enjoying this more.

These were from a visit for photographs way back at the end of May, with Nana, aunties and cousins.
And yes, I believe she did sleep well that night.
